The Triangle Mesh Completer is a nice free 3D software that has only one purpose: Complete inclomplete 3D meshes. And the program does a really good job.
The program uses a method that allows repairing even seriously damaged meshes. As distinct from existing ones, it can connect different boundaries of a specified damaged model to restore its original topology.
The Program is available as plugin for Rhino 4.0 and as a standalone version for Windows.
